Jordan -- Regulatory Decision on the Provisioning of Mobile Virtual Network Operator Services in Jordan

Download now (38 KB)

This Regulatory Decision was issued by the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) of Jordan in 2008. The Decision approves the provisioning of mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) services in Jordan and sets out the terms and conditions of provisioning these services. Pursuant to this decision, providing MVNO services requires an Individual Licence. MVNOs and mobile network operators (MNOs) are, for the most part, permitted to negotiate arrangements on a commercial basis, based on their own needs and interests. MVNOs have the right to interconnection and to obtain numbering resources. MVNOs are subject to various regulatory requirements, including Quality of Service obligations for public mobile operators, where appropriate.
